The honest version

What Disney Treasure is actually like

Structurally the Treasure is the Wish again — same class, same layout, same water coaster. What changed is the theming, and it changed for the better. Where the Wish is fairy-tale, the Treasure is adventure and exploration: Aladdin in the atrium, Coco in the dining room, Jungle Cruise in the adults-only bar.

It also runs longer itineraries. Seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings out of Port Canaveral mean real port days rather than a dash around the ship, which suits families who have done a short cruise already and want more of an actual holiday.

It is the hardest ship in the fleet to book. Newest plus seven nights plus school holidays is the exact combination everyone wants, and cabins for peak weeks go within days of the itinerary release. If the Treasure is what you want, we need to be talking twelve to eighteen months out.

Book it if

  • A second Disney cruise, or a confident first one
  • Families wanting genuine port days
  • Anyone who cares about the newest hardware

Look elsewhere if

  • Late bookers — this is the one that sells out
  • Budget-conscious trips
  • Anyone hoping to sail from the UK

Dining

Where you will eat

Plaza de Coco

The best rotational restaurant in the fleet, and we do not say that lightly.

Calm, art-led, no show. The one to book when everyone is overstimulated.

Worlds of Marvel

Same interactive show as the Wish.

Palo Steakhouse / Enchanté

Adults only and chargeable. Book the moment your window opens.

  • Oceaneer Club with Sanctuary-themed spaces
  • Edge (11–14) and Vibe (14–17)
  • It’s a Small World Nursery, 6 months to 3 years
  • AquaMouse, plus a quieter family pool than the Wish

Adults only

  • Haunted Mansion Parlor — the best bar at sea, and no, children cannot look in
  • Skipper Society
  • Periscope Films
  • Quiet Cove and Senses Spa
