No. Disney pays travel agents a commission that is already built into the fare, so the price is the same whether you book with us or direct. We add no booking fee, admin fee or amendment fee of our own.

Because a lot is included that other lines charge for — soft drinks, ice cream, room service, all the kids clubs, the theatre shows and the character work. It is still genuinely more expensive per night than a mainstream line, and if your children are not particularly interested in Disney you will not get the value back. We will say so if we think that is the case.

Typically 20% of the cruise fare at booking, with the balance due around 90 days before you sail. Deposits are usually non-refundable but are often transferable to another sailing within certain windows — we will confirm the exact terms for your booking in writing.

For UK school holidays, at itinerary release — 12 to 18 months out. Outside term time you have more room, but Disney fares generally rise as cabins sell rather than falling, so waiting for a late deal is usually a losing strategy.

All main dining including the rotational restaurants, most soft drinks, tea and coffee, ice cream, room service, all the youth clubs, the theatre shows, the deck parties and the fireworks. Not included: alcohol, speciality coffee, adult-exclusive restaurants, the spa, excursions, internet and gratuities.

Gratuities are added to your onboard account automatically at a set rate per guest per night — budget for it as part of the cost, not as an optional extra. You can adjust it at guest services if you have a genuine reason to.

Yes, and they are the single biggest reason families rebook. They are included, they run most of the day and evening, and children are generally reluctant to leave. Age bands matter though — the toddler nursery is chargeable and needs booking early.

Modern ships are very stable, but the Atlantic in autumn and the Bay of Biscay are honest exceptions. If anyone is prone to it, tell us — we will put you mid-ship on a lower deck and steer you away from the itineraries with long open-ocean stretches.

Yes. Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sail from Southampton in the summer on Northern Europe, fjords and British Isles itineraries. It is the easiest way to do a Disney cruise from the UK, and it is what we recommend for families with very young children.

Through us, in most cases. When we book the flights and the cruise together it becomes a package with full ATOL protection, which matters a great deal if a flight is cancelled the day before you sail. Booking flights separately is sometimes cheaper but you carry the risk yourself.

Yes. Cruise-only bookings are protected through our ABTA membership. Anything including flights is sold as a package under our ATOL. You receive the relevant certificate with your confirmation — if an agency cannot produce one, do not pay them.
